Karishma is a Senior Associate leading communications for CLASP’s clean energy access and climate research portfolios across Asia. Previously, she has worked extensively in the non-profit communications space in India, building her media expertise through stints at public relations agencies and developing communications strategies for various philanthropies and social enterprises in the agri-tech and education sectors. More recently, she has worked at an impact media platform, designing advocacy campaigns for global philanthropies and multilateral agencies in the areas of girls’ education, electric mobility, and environment.

Outside of work, Karishma is a passionate cook on a mission to collect vintage cookbooks. Karishma holds a Bachelors in Law and International Relations from the University of Exeter, UK.
