Cristina is passionate about EU energy and climate policy, with a focus on accelerating the transition to clean energy and advancing efficiency measures. Before joining CLASP, she worked with health and environmental NGOs, coordinating initiatives on fossil gas appliances and infrastructure while engaging with policymakers, experts, civil society, and grassroots activists to drive the energy transition. Her experience also includes research on the health impacts and economic costs of pollution from combustion appliances, helping to shape policy narratives around cleaner alternatives.
Beyond work, Cristina finds energy and inspiration in movement, culture, and exploration. She enjoys traveling and practicing and teaching salsa, and is drawn to modern art museums and contemporary theatre.
