Nya brings a decade of experience in Program Management, Business Development, and Operations in the renewable energy sector having built and supported teams focused on increasing access to clean and affordable energy in the Global South. Nya joined CLASP in 2017 and skilfully managed the Global LEAP Awards Results-Based Financing Program which catalysed the sale of more than 285,000 off-grid appropriate appliances between 2017-21. Nya was previously at Fenix International (now Engie Energy Access) where she held various leadership roles and led the company’s strategic expansion into Zambia. She has a fondness for the desert from having spent her college years at New Mexico State University where she studied Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.
