Anna Carolina Lourenço Navarro brings expertise in sustainability, science and technology policy, and energy efficiency. She has extensive experience working at the intersection of policy, research, and industry, with a strong focus on electric mobility, renewable energy, and sustainable urban development. Her work spans both public and private sectors, where she has contributed to the design and implementation of initiatives that promote low-carbon technologies and regulatory advancements.
She has played a key role in shaping policies and regulatory frameworks, contributing to the development of the National Electric Mobility Plan and various R&D projects focused on energy efficiency and clean energy transitions. Her expertise includes stakeholder mapping, policy analysis, and identifying institutional and financial instruments to support sustainability initiatives. Currently pursuing a Ph.D., Anna’s research explores the role of local public authorities in promoting sustainable urban mobility. She is passionate about fostering solutions that accelerate the energy transition and create more sustainable and resilient cities.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and exploring nature on hikes. She also loves traveling and discovering new trails, always looking for the next great outdoor adventure.
