Martha Wakoli is a Manager supporting the Clean Energy Access team. Previously, she worked at a private renewable energy company, where she coordinated the development of utility-scale, grid-connected renewable energy projects and at the national utility as an engineer. Martha holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi and an M.Sc. in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Southampton. Martha is passionate about mentoring girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). She is the founder and editor of ‘Queengineers’, a free online publication showcasing female engineers to provide role models for African girls interested in STEM subjects. During her free time, she loves to read, enjoys plays and concerts, and spends time with her family and friends.
