Yuping is a Research Associate at CLASP, supporting clean energy access and climate research. She began her career as an environmental journalist, later contributing to the launch of a global renewable energy procurement initiative. Yuping has also worked on sustainability factsheet collections, and conducted data and policy analysis for U.S. renewable energy development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Sustainability from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communication from Renmin University of China. Outside of work, Yuping enjoys hiking, cooking, visiting museums, and exploring new restaurants.
