Wase Khalid

Based in our Delhi office, Wase Khalid is a Manager with the Clean Energy Access team at CLASP. Wase works across research, field implementation, public policy, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.

Wase brings nearly a decade of experience advancing practical, market-based clean energy solutions. Before CLASP, Wase was Programme Lead with the Sustainable Livelihoods team at CEEW, where he focused on productive-use appliance markets and green livelihoods. Earlier at Dharma Life, he expanded clean cooking solutions through women-led rural enterprises. Wase holds a Master’s in Social Work (Livelihood & Social Entrepreneurship) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Outside of work, he is an avid sports enthusiast who follows a wide range of sports closely. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and places.
