Evelyne Kopar

Evelyne most recently served as Head of Communications at BURN Manufacturing, where she led strategic communications during a period of significant institutional growth and global visibility. As a member of the senior leadership team, she built and scaled the communications function, growing the team from one to eight people, and embedding structured internal, executive, brand, and impact communications across the organization. Her work strengthened BURN’s positioning across Africa, Europe, and the United States, particularly in climate, clean energy access, and voluntary carbon markets. She also led communications around major global convenings, including COP engagements, and supported executive visibility with investors, partners, and policymakers.

Prior to BURN, Evelyne led strategic communications at Ogilvy, advising multinational brands including Coca-Cola, Diageo and Mondelez on brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management across African markets. Her earlier career in public relations and journalism shaped her disciplined approach to narrative, media strategy, and message clarity.

Evelyne holds degrees in Business and in Communications, Media, and Public Relations. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, reading, and exploring Nairobi’s food and culture scene.
