Yatharth is a Program Associate based in New Delhi and supports the India team on developing products efficiency policies and compliances related work. Yatharth has six years of experience in energy auditing, renewable energy and energy efficiency-related projects in India, Philippines, Grenada and Guyana. Prior to joining CLASP, he worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Bangalore, part of the industrial energy efficiency group and conducted energy audits of more than 50 industries, including both MSME and large-scale industries. He also assists the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power in developing the National Energy Transition Index (NETI), the Regulatory Indicators for Sustainable Energy (RISE) index and the 13th BRICS Summit India. He holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from TERI SAS, New Delhi, and he is a certified energy manager by the Government of India. Outside of work, Yatharth spent his free time watching movies, travelling, and by doing gardening.
