In support of the European Commission’s analysis of distribution and power transformers, CLASP undertook a study on the relationship between manufacturer’s selling price and efficiency. In this report, CLASP publishes the design results on two cast-coil dry-type transformers:

•  1250 kVA cast-coil dry-type three-phase unit, representing industry transformers
• 2000 kVA cast-coil dry-type three-phase unit, representing distributed energy resources (DER) transformers
