Marin is a graduate student at American University with a passion for environmental sustainability, particularly focused on the global energy transition. Before working at CLASP, she held a position with the Sierra Club promoting sustainable energy use as well as the International Law Institute organizing educational seminars for legal professionals from around the world. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is studying for her Master’s degree in Public Policy with a concentration in socio-environmental policy at American University. Originally from Wisconsin, she lived in Spain for 5 months before moving to Washington DC, where she enjoys visiting museums and sampling international cuisine.
