Marin graduated from American University with a passion for environmental sustainability, particularly focused on the global energy transition. Before joining CLASP, she worked with the Sierra Club, promoting sustainable energy use, and with the International Law Institute, where she organized educational seminars for legal professionals from around the world. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in socio-environmental policy from American University. Originally from Wisconsin, Marin lived in Spain for five months before moving to Washington, D.C., where she enjoys visiting museums and sampling international cuisine. In her free time, she likes to play board games, read, and play pickleball.
