Katherine joins CLASP’s Indonesia program based in Jakarta, conducting research, policy analysis, and capacity building in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. She studied in the US and Germany, receiving a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in air quality control, solid waste, and waste water process engineering. Her research focused on emissions modeling and she has practical experience at engineering firms developing air filtration systems and holds a patent for a first-of-its-kind high performance air filter for automotive cabin space. Outside of work, she enjoys working with ceramics and hiking.
