Kynan Tjandaputra
Kynan is an Associate on the Climate team in Indonesia. Prior to joining CLASP, Kynan interned in a VC in The Hague as an energy analyst, supporting innovative founders in the domain of energy & sustainability to collaborate with corporates. Kynan holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in the University of Indonesia and furthered his studies on Sustainable Energy Systems through a double degree masters from KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm and TU/e Eindhoven. Throughout his education journey, he worked on energy efficiency, energy access, and climate change mitigation projects in collaboration with the industry. Outside his interest in the energy & sustainability world, he loves football, building his photography portfolio, exploring the outdoors, and taking care of plants.
Maranda Stephens
Maranda has been in payroll for over 15 years. She received her payroll certification from the American Payroll Association in 2012. She comes from a very diverse payroll background which includes oil and gas, entertainment, and the private prison system. Maranda is a gamer at heart and during her free time you can find her playing xbox with her family.
Elynora Sapp
Elynora Sapp (she/her) is an Administrative Associate on the Climate team, conducting critical administrative and programmatic tasks to ensure the broader program team is set up for success. She brings over 7 years of management experience and has grown her career as an administrator through a variety of unique opportunities, from customer service to non-profit theatre.
Prior to joining CLASP, Elynora was the inaugural Company Manager at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C where she led the development of several organizational processes such as onboarding, radical care practices, sustainability, safety, project and personnel management. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Theatre/Arts Management. Outside of work, Elynora enjoys seeking out crafting, community and anything by the water or in the sunshine.
Caitlin Campbell
Caitlin is a Digital Media Intern supporting the Climate Team. As a recent graduate from Wellesley College, she holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Environmental Studies and Media Arts and Sciences. Caitlin is passionate about sustainable development and accessible climate communications. When not working, Caitlin can be found cooking, fostering animals, or enjoying the outdoors through hiking and climbing.
Feiyan Zhao
Feiyan joins CLASP’s China office as a Technical Associate, supporting the China program’s daily administration, executing critical program implementation tasks, and provide support on research, outreach and communications. Feiyan has more than 14 years working experience on climate change and has extensive experience on energy efficiency policy research and program operation. She holds a master’s degree in Ecology from China Agricultural University. In her free time she enjoys cooking for the family and travelling with her family.
Prasun Pandey
Prasun joined CLASP in July 2022. Prasun brings more than eight years of experience and expertise in industrial decarbonisation, energy efficiency and other low carbon themes. Prasun provides technical and programmatic support to CLASP’s projects on cold chain in India. Prior to joining CLASP, Prasun worked with Xynteo, wherein he helped businesses develop and implement sustainable growth strategies. He holds a master’s degree in Management from TERI School Of Advanced Studies, Delhi. In his spare time, Prasun enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and reading.
Heather Thompson
Heather is Human Resources Associate, supporting our growing team around the globe. She currently helps support initiatives that enhance and streamline CLASP’s employee experience and processes including onboarding, engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
Prior to joining CLASP, Heather served as an HR associate for the National Renewable Energy Lab and a Training Leader for the National Nuclear Security Administration. Heather has a Master of Education in Multicultural/Multilingual Education from George Mason University and speaks Spanish as a second language. During her personal time, she enjoys skiing and time with her family.
Dennis Migono
Dennis is a Communications Associate on the Clean Energy Access team, supporting communications for CLASP’s Efficiency for Access/LEIA and Global LEAP programs. Prior to joining CLASP, Dennis worked at Lachlan Kenya Limited, Nation Media Group PLC and Jubilee Insurance Kenya where he contributed to the formulation and execution of corporate communication programs including digital media, brand promotion & CSR activities, events management, media relations and project management. Dennis received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Communication, majoring on corporate communication, from the Multimedia University of Kenya. Outside work, he enjoys watching television shows, listening to music, going for nature walks, cycling and reading non-fiction books.
Mike Ofuya
Mike joined CLASP’s Clean Energy Access team as a Coordinator in the Nairobi office. He brings diverse experience spanning over three years in the development and start-up sectors; having worked previously at Youth and Success Association and co-founded Bi-Bella Media. He is passionate about building innovative solutions for the betterment of humanity. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing basketball, reading books on philosophy and personal development, and outdoor adventures.
Anna Wright
Anna is an Associate at CLASP, supporting the Clean Energy Access Team with her experience in research, data analysis, and collaboration. She earned bachelor’s degrees in environmental science and global sustainability from the University of Virginia, where she conducted thesis work on the effects of cattle agriculture on river water quality. Prior to joining CLASP, Anna worked in higher education to promote data-driven decision-making in a data analytics role. There, she focused on analysis of student demographics and success to improve college access for underserved communities. In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading, playing board games, staying active, and traveling.
